Dear State Officials, We are all writing this petition pleading for you to hear our cries. We desperately need cameras everywhere in the State Prisons. We need them in the dorms, living areas, cafeterias, librarys, schools, PTI, and medical areas. We think if the cameras are installed and are constantly recording, it will not only deter acts of violence, it may save one of our loved ones lives. Also it will lessen the need for more Correctional Officers. Many of us who have signed this petition have already lost a loved one, or at the least, have had a loved one victimized because lack of supervision. Please consider our request, it may even save the life of an officer one day. (Especially when cigarettes get banned)Thank you for your time.
