Liquitex soft-body acrylic paints are a one-of-a-kind product... there is no other acrylic like them. They straddle the line between liquid acrylics (very watery) and hard body acrylics (very stiff). A while back Liquitex discontinued the cadmiums, which was a huge blow to professional painters like myself, who have built our body of work with these amazing paints. When I went to my local art store to buy some of the non-cadmium colors, the large 8 oz and 32 oz sizes were ALL GONE. Searching around the internet, it appears that the large sizes of these unique paints are vanishing. What colors there are are being sold at clearance prices. The Liquitex website only lists 24 colors in 32 oz containers. If these paints are being scaled back or eliminated entirely, there's nothing out there to replace them with. I'm honestly shocked. I paint large, and you can't use little 2 oz bottles with gigantic 2" brushes. An entire way of painting is essentially being wiped out. Imagine all tubes of watercolors just vanishing... leaving only the little hard blocks of color. Imagine if you couldn't get oil paint in tubes.

I know a number of artist who specifically use the Liquitex Soft-Body acrylics on a professional level including a muralist who buys massive amounts of them for her work and will be devistated if these are discontinued!
I've been using Liquitex soft-body acrylic paints in my personal and professional work for decades. Please keep selling them in both smaller and larger containers and maintain the diversity of the line of colors.
OMG please don't remove these!! It's all I use!! I would have to relearn 20 yrs of painting in a new medium!!! I love these paints and choose them over all others!
The heavier paints don't compare to these for the process I (and many other illustrators I know) use. Phasing them out will probably be the end of my use of Liquitex products.
I'm a professional illustrator with 25 years of experience. My entire body of work, which includes illustrations for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Wizards of the Coast and hundreds of other clients, has all been made possible by your excellent soft-body paints. Please continue to manufacture them!

I have used these paints for many years and cannot believe that Liquitex is discontinuing this product without offering a suitable substitute. I would be interested to find out if anyone has found an alternative they can recommend
