I have used the NEW replacements for my Elixer....... They do not compare... Exhausting and costly trying to find a product that compares... Aveda really did Brake the Mold... SAD Aveda customer.

Please consider bringing this product back. I live overseas and wasn't aware it had been discontinued until it was too late. This really is the best product ever produced for frizzy tangled hair, especially on children who have little patience to sit still.

I bought a case of Elixir for my wife when it was discontinued and it was perfect for her curly hair. Sad day when we finally ran out. Nothing else comes close.

I'm very disappointed in the so called replacements Aveda has suggested to use instead of Elixir. It's ridiculous that Aveda suggest we mix two or three products to get mediocre results when they already had a perfect all in one product. Listen to your customers- BRING IT BACK!

I no longer have a reason to go to Aveda stores. Elixir was what I went there to buy, and generally I bought other stuff once I was in the store. Unfortunately, I was told various other Aveda products were alternatives ..... well none of them even came close. Why on earth dump your best product?

Please bring back Elixer... please!!! It is the only think that tames my friz without weihing it down or leaving it feeling heavy with product. I am 42. I had used it since i was 16. I have fine but textured hair. I've not found a better product since, Aveda or otherwise. I still go into your stores hoping and am always so disappointed. Please consider bringing it back. Please bring back this outstanding product. Price for a 12 year old bottle on Ebay is about $150. ..Like others, I have not found an acceptable substitute. I'd support any effort to hire a scientist to recreate this product. Their products are far too expensive to experiment with and I never see the flat sample packs salons used to give to their good customers years ago. Looking at the available products, it doesn't even seem like they are trying to market a product that had the magic of Elixir.

Bring back Aveda Elixr and detoxify shampoo. Nothing you make now is anything like these two products! Spent far to much trying to replicate when these two were outstanding.

The problem with bringing back Elixir is if Estee’ does the Formulation it’s doubtful you will get the same product. All of the Aveda products that I have looked at since 1997 are no longer clean formulations or pure based. They have PEGS and other ingredients that HORST would have NEVER used in his products. Totally negative ingredients that are horrible for hair and skin. It would be nice to have that and all of the clean and original formulas back. There was nothing like them then or now. Truly they were a gift from heaven. Absolutely true and pure for beauty in every way. I was fortunate to train with Horst and the team in the 1980’s-1997.

I loved the elixir and haven’t found anything that compares. Please bring it back.

Yes, please bring back elixir. There was nothing like it. It was beautiful for the hair and you could also use it as a body lotion.
