By signing this petition, I express my desire and support to see the "Jesus Saves" sign currently at 200 Wesley Heights Way, fully restored and displayed at Garr Church, 7700 Wallace Rd., Charlotte, NC. Furthermore, I support a variance in the sign ordinance to allow this sign to be prominently displayed and visible from Independence Blvd.

The bureaucrats at City Hall finally have to pay attention to us now. They thought this sign would just disappear into a landfill but our momentum proves they were dead wrong.

Why do they always want to get rid of the local history. Leave the sign alone!
Fix the ordinance and let them keep the sign. Its been there forever.
My kids grew up seeing that sign every time we drove into the city. Hope they can find a way to keep it lit.
Restoring it is a wonderful idea. It belongs at the church so everyone can see it again.
KEEP IT UP! It is a landmark and needs to stay exactly where it is visible to everyone.

That sign has been a part of Charlotte for as long as I can remember. It would be a real shame to see it torn down now.
