I oppose this change, wildlife will be disrupted. It will take years to restore their habitat.

I used to skate on Pamecha Pond and lived on Lakeside Ave, Also went sliding down my parent's hill and onto thepond.

Even though there are plans to create a park and attract wildlife, there are no plans to protect the existing wildlife that have adopted the area over the past 145 years.

My family enjoys walking through the peaceful Highland Pond Preserve trail. The generations before us that have been enjoying it.

I grew up in Middletown. Losing this little piece of heaven would be a sad commentary on our core values. What kind of world will we leave the children if we chip away at Nature???
