Fremington Camp has been used for training by Military and Cadet corps for many years. It is the best location in the area for the job, and is just across the river from RMB Chivenor and the military exercise ground, Braunton Burrows.
The guys higher up want this camp CLOSED! Most of the buildings are in good repair, and can be fixed up or replaced. Many cadets from the ATC, the AFC and possibly the SCC have trained here, the more senior may have attended up to eleven weekends to earn their qualifications. The only thing ever complained about at Fremington was the weather!
please help us get noticed and give us the chance to save Fremington Camp for future use! Sign this petition!
The stories shared about training experiences at Fremington Camp reveal how vital this site is for so many cadets. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to ensure they understand the long-term value of this facility to our youth. Your commitment to this cause is providing the necessary weight to keep this conversation moving forward.

The growth of this movement reveals how many people truly value the history and utility of Fremington Camp. This momentum suggests that our local training grounds are far more essential to the community than those in power initially understood.

My son loves his time at the camp. It really gives the kids something to do and gets them off the sofa. DONT CLOSE IT!

Spent so many weekends here with the cadets back in the day. Such a shame to lose a spot with this much history. Keep it open.

Total waste of good facilities. Fix the buildings and keep it running for the next generation of cadets.
