Delmarva Public Radio is a unique local institution that has enriched the culture of the Eastern Shore for over twenty-five years. It is the cultural and news crossroads of Delmarva. It has provided classical music with a local perspective as well as local news and award-winning local investigative reporting. It has enhanced the heritage of our past and enriched the prospects for our local economic and cultural development in the future. Donors and Delmarva taxpayers have invested heavily in these values. Those Delmarva investments must be preserved and our local values and unique local interests reflected in a restructured Delmarva Public Radio, housed within Salisbury University, or if that is regrettably not possible, a new community-based organization. Therefore, we the undersigned urge the Salisbury University Foundation to preserve the proud Delmarva identity in Delmarva Public Radio and exercise responsible stewardship to ensure its transition to long-range financial stability.

Just sad. Classical music is already hard enough to find without losing our own local station. Keep it running.

DPR has been part of my morning routine for years. Very disappointed that this is even on the table. Save our station!

Keep it on air. We need local news not just more national junk. Salisbury University needs to step up and keep this service alive for everyone here.

Please dont let this happen. I listen to DPR every single day in my car and it is the only station that actually plays good music on the shore.
