We the undersigned believe Edge Radio is a valuable community resource that should be recognised by Government and educational bodies in the form of core funding.
The station supports local arts and culture and gives a voice to many community groups, students and Tasmanian artists, who may otherwise not be heard.
We want to see Edge Radio continue as a viable community organisation.
I have finalized the briefing document outlining the station’s essential role in local arts and education. This file is being delivered to the offices of key policy stakeholders today to initiate formal discussions on core funding.
