We the signers of this petition ask that WCMU Radio reconsider its probable decision to take the only purely progressive radio show off its current schedule. WCMU has done a poor job of providing the progressives in our area with much to listen to. We want more progressive public radio on the air in our area, not LESS and there are many good shows to select from that are carried on many other Michigan public radio stations. The Monday night show Alternative Radio has provided one of the few voices of reason. If you choose to pull Alternative Radio, we urge WCMU to provide some alternative programming that will make progressive listeners want to continue their support for WCMU Public Broadcasting.
