THE MOMENTUM BEHIND SAVING CAMP STAUNTON MEADOWS IS ABSOLUTELY EXPLODING RIGHT NOW!! IT IS CLEAR THAT SO MANY PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING TO KEEP OUR CHERISHED MEMORIES ALIVE AND THIS ENERGY IS LITERALLY UNSTOPPABLE!!

So many great memories here. The Blob. Those awkward dances at the end of the week. The lingering stench of the boys' cabins and the itch of mosquito bites. There was nothing like Camp Staunton Meadows. I hope it can be saved.
I went to Stanton meadows in the late 80s for probably 4-5 years and stayed all summer long. It was an amazing part of my childhood it would be sad to see this camp close.
I spent a summer their many years ago

International people used to come.....l met a few from Australia
Was a camper for many years
I went here as a child!! Great memories!

Was Assistant Director in early 2000,s over 3 years from Australia. A great place for kids and the local and international counsellors were great to work with. Took a many a canoe trip on the Staunton Rv and driving the old hay ride bus.. Shame if this place closed.
