I have been spending my afternoons talking to the owners and listening to the stories of families who have eaten at Chuy's for decades. It is clear that this place holds the heart of our community together. I am currently putting together a formal proposal to take before the city council.

Seeing this kind of momentum behind Chuy's proves that I am not the only one who considers this place a second home. The energy you are all bringing to this fight gives me hope that our neighborhood staple might actually survive.

ive been goin here since i was a kid pls dont let them close the doors!!
My family goes here every Friday night. Where are we supposed to go instead? There is nothing else like it in Dogtown.
Fix the lease issues or whatever is going on. Dogtown wouldnt be the same without the queso.
CHUY'S IS AN INSTITUTION. LEAVE IT ALONE.
Best tacos in the city. Closing this place would be a huge mistake for the whole neighborhood.
