We the undersigned residents, friends and supporters of the Cheltenham Estate are appalled to hear of the masterplanning exercise for Edenham Way, the site of Edenham Residential Care Home, and Trellick Tower's garage site. We hereby make the following demands: - an immediate halt to any proposition to redevelop Edenham Way, which is a mixed and balanced community of family houses and flats, rented, leasehold and freehold - an honest and OPEN-ENDED public consultation on the future of the site of Edenham Resident Care Home, which we were told would be for older people's facilities, to include the garage site which is a local sports amenity -protection for what is an outstanding and unique example of Goldfinger's social housing by creating a local conservation zone, preserving a world famous archtiectural icon which is part of the borough's architectural heritage.
