Mr. Burton is amazing teacher is impacted our children's lives so much it's a shame we would have to lose such an important role model and teacher over something so ridiculous I hope the school board wises up

Mr Burtner was one of the best english teachers I've ever had. He really cares about each and every one of his students and he takes the time to make sure that you become a better student but also a better person. Out of all of the teachers at WASHS, Mr Burtner is the one who has made the biggest impact on my collegiate career. He is an outstanding teacher and more importantly an outstanding person.

When i attended WASHS, Mr. Burtner was an inspiration to everyone he knew. He is a very wise man with the best intentions in mind for every one of his students. He strives to see those who struggle succeed. He never gives up on those in need. Letting this great man go from WASHS would destroy my confidence in my school. Please preserve Mr. Burtner's excellence at our school!

Mr. Burtner was my favorite English teacher in. I learned the most from him about writing than I did the whole 13 years I attended school!

One of the best teachers I ever had throughout my school years. I don't think I ever would hang got the hang of writing research papers without him. I even used the tips he gave me throughout college and now I am a penn state graduate. Getting rid of him as a teacher would be a huge mistake. All of my favorite literature came from his class and he made it so enjoyable.

I never really liked English that much but when it comes to Mr Burtner I love it. I got a D in English in 9th and 10th grade. This year my junior year i am oassing with an A because of his wonderful teaching skills. He makes class where it can be fun but then if he must he lays down the law.
