The administration should work to support the teachers on the front line, not use scare tactics to beat them into submission. Without good teachers our children suffers and our community suffers.

In his class I learned more than English and how to write good papers I learned a lot of life lessons there to. He is one of the best teachers I've had!

This guy fostered a love in the arts for a lot of kids. Unless he did something really heinous this would be a huge loss for the district.

Burner was the man and he doesn't deserve to lose his job over some ridiculous misunderstanding. If they decide to get rid of him, they will be getting rid of one of the only reasons I wanted to come to school everyday

Mr. Burtner was one of the best teachers I've ever had, and really pushed me to be the best I could in my writing skills. He could never be replaced, and I hope everyone realizes that before this decision is made.

Mr. Burtner was a caring, all around enjoyable teacher. He cared for his students more than any teacher I've ever met. He taught us as much as he possibly could in the small amount of time he saw us each day. He taught us in a way that would actually hold our interest and teach at the same time. He is an amazing teacher inside and out and anyone would be stupid to disagree.

I had MR. Burtner and i enjoyed every minute of his class, he is a very funny and kind person. His stories always made every day memorable. I was pregnant during the time i was in his class and he was super understanding and out of all my teachers he was the only one to show up to my house every week to pick up my school work and bring new work.

Mr. Burtner is one of the best teachers hands down in Waynesboro. hes taught me a lot in high school. It would be sad to see if he goes.
