H&F Council plan to close Barons Court library, as part of its library strategy. We, the undersigned local residents and/or users of the library, wish to register our objection to this proposal, and the lack of a meaningful and transparent consultation process. We call upon H&F council to:
1) Find a strategy to keep our library open. 2) Consult in a meaningful and transparent manner with local residents on any future proposals affecting the library.

This library is a lifeline for my kids. We go every single saturday morning. Please dont take this away from the community.
Council just wants to sell the land for more luxury flats. We see what you are doing.
My local branch for 20 years. Its the heart of the area. Leave it alone!!!!
Ridiculous. Where are the elderly supposed to go if they want to read a paper or use a computer? Keep it open.
Shameful that they try to push this through without asking anyone first. Typical.

I used this place all through school for homework and quiet study. Kids need this space more than ever.
