Save Free Speech on Radio - First Amendment Allows Offensive Speech

Ever since the Don Imus debacle, radio hosts across the country are being held to \"standards\" of decency. Nowhere are these standards defined. No one has explained why they are in place, or how they are not blatant violations of the First Amendment. While many \"Shock Jocks\" use crude and offensive humor, every American has the right to turn off their radio should they be offended. A few select number of special interest groups are working to silence speech they deem offensive. They threaten boycott, and radio executives are running scared and firing radio hosts left and right. It is time to stand up and declare that the First Amendment matters. It is time to show that a select number of special interest groups do not have the right to dictate what is fair and decent in our society. I would like for you to pledge that you will not support the radio station or sponsors of radio stations that limit free speech and/or fire hosts due to the content of their shows. I will send the results of this survey to the CEO and CFO of Clear Channel, Infinity, CBS Radio, Viacom, XM, Sirius, Citadel (and any other companies I might be missing)
