Dear Members of the Harding Township Committee, 

Please vote YES to support the preservation of the Primrose Farm Estates property on July 13, 2011.   

Your vote represents Harding's last chance to save what is perhaps our largest remaining preservation opportunity from development.  The preservation of Primrose Farms will benefit current and future generations of Harding residents by providing a unique opportunity for passive recreation on a locally-owned property, as well as meeting many of the objectives of the town's Master Plan, including limiting development, protecting important habitat and watershed lands.

It is a wise use of our voter-authorized dedicated Harding Open Space Tax fund.  It leverages nearly $8 million dollars of outside funds that if not used in Harding will go to support projects in other towns. Since Harding residents' tax dollars help fund these outside grant programs, it is in Harding's best interest to use those tax dollars in our town. 

A positive vote on this project will have long-term benefits for a continued strong, successful local open space program and will demonstrate your support for a citizen-led initiative to preserve Harding's rural character.
