The current momentum has surpassed our initial expectations and confirms that we have enough leverage to request a formal meeting with the Gwent Police department. We are currently drafting the official correspondence to the relevant officials to discuss Saxon's future.

breaks my heart to hear this. he served the public faithfully he deserves better than this.
SAXON IS A HERO. plain and simple. he put his life on the line every shift. give him a break!!
so cruel after everything he has done for the community. let him live out his days in peace with his handler.
Spent my whole life around Gwent police and you guys treat your dogs like family usually. what has changed?? save him.
Common sense needs to prevail here. he is a retired officer effectively.
