The state legislature has officially restored funding for Catholic school bus transportation. I am grateful to each of you for the commitment shown to this cause throughout this process. We will remain observant as these funds are distributed to ensure educational continuity for our students.

Please reverse the Appropriations Committee cuts to Catholic School bus transportation. - Catholic Schools in the State of CT save the state over $300 million annually. - Local municipalities and Boards of Education would see a dramatic rise in their education costs if students who would otherwise attend Catholic School enrolled in public schools as a result of this cut by the appropriations committee. Thank you for your immediate consideration.

My kids go to st marys and we depend on that bus every day. stop cutting the stuff that actually works.
Catholic schools take a huge burden off the public system. this is just short sighted.
If these kids end up in public schools the town will be broke. keep the buses running.
Ridiculous that we pay full taxes and get nothing back. restore the funding now.
PLEASE DONT DO THIS. we cant afford private transport and it isnt fair to the kids.
Please restore transportation services for our Catholic Schools
also signing as a substitute teacher at both public schools and diocese.

I pay a great deal of taxes per year, cut overtime of state workers..we need busing for our kids.
My kids go to st marys and we depend on that bus every day. stop cutting the stuff that actually works.
