It is vital that Kimbolton fire station remains being in a strategic location to serve the area to the west of the A1, in a quick and efficient way enabling set response times to be met. If a appliance has to come from Huntingdon response times would increase to the detriment of our communities.

St Neots/ Huntingdon are too far away in an emergency. That extra 10/15 mins travelling time can make a big difference to the outcome of a fire. Why interfere with something that doesn't need changing. I lived at Stow for 20 years, it was always comforting knowing how close they were if needed.

I live in the village. This service is a much needed service for a village in the middle of nowhere and local surrounding areas
