Please do not close Manea. We need them.

Shutting this fire station will put lives in danger, the roads into the village are dangerous with potholes and emergency services can’t drive fast on them to reach people in a short time.

This rural communitee is so deep in remote swampland that if there's a serious fire, half the village will be gone by the time the nearest response team could get there.

Do not close Kimbolton Fire Station. The alternative stations are too far away and leaves properties and businesses vulnerable

To save money the powers of be seem quiet happy to sacrifice peoples lives through closer of rural stations. Manea is a growing population with more buildings being proposed. Local businesses need to allow firefighters to attend the call outs as who knows one day it could be their downfall. New members to join the fire service is needed also. The Fens is ear marked for huge expansion with thousands of new properties proposed, where is the infrastructure? . It will be a very sad day indeed if they close Maneas fire station. Closing rural stations will undoubtedly cost LIVES at some point. Just one life is not acceptable.

I am signing this on behalf of my cousin who lives in Manea and a friend who lives in Sutton, neither of whom are on Facebook.

We need to keep Manea fire station open. It is a life saving resource!! Fires and other emergencies do happen - a single life saved is worth the expense.

Services should be maintained or improved, not taking backward steps that leave villages without a fire service that is capable of responding within 30 minutes

It would be a mistake and tragedy if Kimbolton fire station is closed - putting properties and lives at risk

The loss of the Kimbolton Fire Station will have serious implications for all of Huntingdonshire west of the A1 as the nearest other fire stations are east of the A1. This is totally unacceptable for the safety of the communities in West Hunts.

PLEASE do Not close our fire station. Living in such a rural village, it's such a privilege to have a ' Blue light service ' right on our door step

As i live in Manea, it would be a disaster should we need this service for a fire. The property would most likely have burned to the ground before one of the surrounding area engines could get to Manea.

We farm and live in Christchurch Cambs. Our business and home could be lost if we urgently needed a near by Fire Service and it wasn't in operation. Please keep the Manea Fire Station poen

We will be so vulnerable without a fire station in Manea especially with the amount of new development. It is no longer a small village. The response times from elsewhere would cause fatalities.
