With the houses in High St Kimbolton if there is a fire speed is of essence as once started the fires spread very quickly through the roof areas Without our local fire station too much damage to more houses could happen in the waiting time

Our local Kimbolton station is essential for the safety and service of the local area. A few minutes can mean the difference between life or death and that should be the main consideration of a public service, not saving a few pounds here or there.

I cannot imagine how devastating it could be not having the Kimbolton fire service on hand. We have Dean Windmill to protect among all the beautiful houses & surrounding fields in our village. Plus the notorious red route of the B645. Don’t close we need you!

So short sighted. With a national importance Grade 1 castle within the town and many thatched homes, a twenty minute wait for a tender from St. Neots is madness.

As a former retained fire-fighter in Kimbolton I would hate to see this vital community service closed.

Response times from St Neots and Huntingdon are not quick enough for those in the very west of the county in the case of a house fire. Kimbolton station must be kept and recruitment stepped up

This station is an integral part of the Kimbolton community with a proud history of which I served for 3yrs. If this station closes it would put lives at risk and potentially all the historic buildings at risk as the nearest stations would be St.Neots or Huntingdon

Rural communities need their fire stations. The next nearest is often half an hour away.

Villages need local fire support, we stand no chance if a fire occurred and had to wait for the fire brigade from ?Bedford.
