This service is needed if lives are to be saved locally. The neatest station to us is 12 to 15 Miiles away (and that's if the A6 is open)

We live a long distance from the next nearest station. We called then fire brigade out and they reached us so quickly. It would have been a minimum of 25mins from the next nearest station.

We need these fire stations I’m 5 minutes from kimbolton and 25 minutes from Bedford those 20 minutes means no more cottage if it caught fire

I am very disappointed to hear that once again the axe is being sharpened to cut away our essential services. Over my dead body will you close Kimbolton Fire Station. It is manned by volunteers that give their skill and time for free. The crew are of outstanding morale fibre unlike our present useless government.
