I had to use the fire service from Kimbolton to stop a field fire in the summer. Would have been a lot worse if they weren’t able to come so quickly to stop it spreading.

Disappointed to hear we may lose our local fire station. Though not a built up area it would mean that the St Neots station will cover an ever increasing area and response times will only get longer.

we really need to keep our fire station in our village it would take far to long for one to come from one other town Please don't let this happen a house would be burnt to the ground by the time one engine got to us

We live in rural areas, it would take a long time for an engine to reach us from Alconbury or St Neots so Kimbolton is very much needed

I hope Mr Smith does not live in the turnout area for one of these proposed stations that are being closed
Because he will be waiting longer for cover everything should be done to save these stations

Other fire stations are too far away, Kimbolton get there far more quickly and therefore reduce risk of damage, Injury and death.

Rural communities are being overlooked with funding in all public services, we're still members of the community and we should be protected by essential services as much as people in towns. Taking Kimbolton FS away will leave the rural communities at higher risk of loss of life.
We are already overlooked with rural policing hence the growth in private security agencies in the area. Are we expected to privately fund a fireservice too?
