A local fire station is essential in our rural area, especially when there are so many farms surrounding it and also we have busy roads and accidents happen often and a local fire service essential for rescue.

All 3 rural fire stations are important to serve the farming community that they reside in, all have busy roads and all have housing developments which are increasing the size of the villages. Losing these essential and necessary fire stations WILL cost lives and homes and livelihoods

my son joined at Ramsey and after 2 years of Training Left the Fire Service, all Rural Oncall Partime Fire Fighters cannot Live on the Retainer. Thats why they struggle to get 3 Firemen per Engine, Because Other Partime Employers are not legaly Bound to Release the Fire Fighters from Work? I also believe this is a Cost cutting Scam, relevant to implementing the 2015 Police & Fire Shared Services Proposal. The Home Office, 2018 Fire and Rescue National Framework. And the Policing Vission 2025.
I Believe a Developer has Lobbied Ministers and given them Shares, so he can buy up the Closed Fire Stations CHEAP, for Residential Redevelopment, like in the Film BACK DRAFT.
Goverment has been Cost cutting and Asset stripping the Public authorities for Years.

As a farmers daughter I have seen that in height of summer and dry weather what fire in rural communities can do and with a local rural fire service on call can be there quicker and help with preventing loss of crops and infrastructure that goes through fields and housing and properties from damage

Kimbolton cover so many big things like the castle, bicton industrial estate and the A14, can’t believe anyone would even think of closing it!!
