These are essential for rural communities which can be a long distance from the main station. Houses in these villages often have thatched roofs and wood burners/open fires. If there happens to be a chimney fire a speedy response is vital.

We need our LOCAL HEROES here in MARCH, if all local fire, ambulance, and police stations close death and distracty

Vital that the Manea station is kept open to support the village and surrounding area.

We are a rural location that needs and deserves a fire service.

Stop putting lives at risk to save a few pennies. We lost our police station now we have no police. It’s getting rediculous.

Fire stations are a vital emergency service and it is paramount that they are in geographically strategic locations. A closure of a fire station in a time of population and urban growth across the country is ludicrous.

I am a district councillor for North Chatteris and Manea. I am strongly against the proposed closure of any Fire Stations, especially those in Sutton and Manea.

How can you put a price on someone's life, losing Manea and Sutton stations will put extra strain on the surrounding fire stations

It would be disastrous if the fire station shut down as it is an essential service to Kimbolton.

Absolute disgrace closing Kimbolton Fire Station as it is a big part of the community safety

A necessary service that should remain in all communities

Please don’t close this, it puts rural people at a disadvantage for a rapid response in an emergency and therefore increased risk of death

As a rural community the facility at Kimbolton fire station is vital
