An essential service for our community on the very edge of the county.

It’s essential to keep this station open as other firefighting teams are so very far away when help is urgently needed. And involvement of the local community in keeping their area safe is desirable and essential.

I have children at Kimbolton school and we farm locally. A local fire service is vital and much needed.

This will cost lives as it takes so long for to travel from the nearest town to the area around Kimbolton. There is a reason that there is a fire station in Kimbolton in the first place!

We will always be grateful to our Kimbolton fire station for dealing with a chimney fire just before Christmas one year. Please don't close this station which must serve quite a big area

An important role they play especially with the school and all the listed buildings containing children for the best part of the day! The risk is too high not to have it.

We have children that go to Kimbolton School and farmland at Upper Dean and having a local fire service is essential.

It’s ridiculous to close these smaller stations. It puts pressure on the larger stations which are understaffed anyway! Pay the fire fighters more and look after them! They are heroes!

Kimbolton fire station is in the heart of Kimbolton, access to all. Last night we attended with our cubs group to give the opportunity to children an insight to how they work. The children loved it. Recently they visited a local school providing the same experience. They are local to our surrounding villages and more than likely first on site when needed. We want to keep the station open for our local community.

With the village of Sutton expanding considerably with new housing developments and the weight of traffic on the A142 making the transit from Ely to Sutton a slow lengthy journey what chance have we of getting an appliance in time to save lives?

Please keel them open

Kimbolton covers a wide area of rural communities. It is able to assist services from St Neots, but also, as we're on the Beds & Northants border, it assists the services out of the Cambs county as well. It would be removing access to timely fire safety services in 3 counties if it were closed!
