At our last board meeting, school board representatives voted to not go ahead with winter sports. Leaving many students heart broken. Sports play a very important role in the everyday lives of a student athlete here at Spruce. At the meeting, the reasoning for all the no's was because there wasn't enough representation of the communities thoughts. Our goal with this petition is to help gain representation of our community proving that sports are wanted for this season. Hopefully, with enough recognition from our community we can bring it back to the school board and potentially get a revote. Please consider signing this petition for our students who are bound to suffer without athletics this winter.
