I am a classical composer, Inspired by his poetry and visionary spirit, I composed a cycle of symphonic songs based on Blake’s poems, entitled Symphonic Blake.
For me, Blake is not only a great poet and artist, but also a visionary whose work continues to inspire artists across generations. That is why I strongly support preserving the place where this great artist-prophet lived and worked. Added to this, Blake was also a key influencer for other artists, inventing a relief-etching method, as well as inspiring pre-Raphaelites and modern psychology with his defiance and focus on the inner mind.
