Watford Borough Council has been disingenuous in claiming WIB has note paid its rents and has not made clear what is the ultimate purpose of their wish to close the facility.

I am disabled ,loosing the ability to bowl with its exercising benefits would have a negative effect on my fitness levels , such as they. Please encourage all your friends and/or family who have any care for YOUR health to sign this partition.

This is a lifeline for many older members of our community and it is a huge shame that this closure is even being considered.

Watford Council needs to support older people's activities. Aren't the numbers of older people in the town set to increase not decrease.?

Raise the fees to the membership to cover extra cost

Sport for all???? Watford Council want to close one of the few organisations that cater for older people who may have disabilities. So the message is, WBC don't care about you when your OLD.

I am extremely disappointed at the proposal to close Watford Bowls Club. This is an extremely important venue to bowler of all ages and is in constant use by the local community. Where will they go if this redevelopment is approved. I consider this to be a short sighted proposal and disapprove and oppose this most strongly.

Shame on you Watford Council for wanting to destroy yet another thriving local community. Bowls is a great way for people to get some gentle exercise and social interaction. You should promote it, not work towards closing it.
