Reprehensible harassment & persecution of this dog, his disabled owner & family. A nasty neighbor has more power than a disabled human & his service dog, and is defended by bully politics. Makes me ashamed.

Since when does a dog jumping against a fence and barking at someone constitute a "dangerous" dog? If that's the definition we use then EVERY dog would be considered dangerous. That's how they warn us that someone is around and that we need to know! This is ridiculous and people need to start finding other things to do with their time.

This is ridiculous! My dog barks at people he doesn't know at first. And he's a Lab mix. A big sweetheart. If i say it's ok, he stops. They just want to keep you safe.

Service animals who have no history of aggression toward anyone should not be labeled! The neighbor shouldn't have hit the fence! He was doing what any dog would do protecting his family! Shame on them not Walter! I STAND WITH WALTER!

Walter is a service dog who is just looking out for his human and his human's family. leave the poor soul alone. If you REALLY want to prosecute someone, I would tell you to prosecute the people who hit on the fence surrounding his family's home. If they didn't disturb, tease, taunt or generally annoy Walter, there wouldn't be a case in the first place. Don't be an idiot - look at the real reasons behind Walter's behaviour. He and his family both need and adore each other and Walter helps Adam and improves his quality of life. I urge you to either drop the case or prosecute the real idiots aka the neighbours who won't leave Walter alone.

ANY dog will jump on a fence and bark at someone that has on numerous occasions teased and tormented him. It does NOT make him a "dangerous dog". It makes the NEIGHBOR dangerous! Please do not give in to stereotypes. Walter is not a "dangerous dog". He is a SERVICE DOG. Please remember that!

Do something to the neighbour rather than the dog. I gave small dogs and if someone was trying to hurt them they would also respond the same way. Do not destroy a well behaved loved animal.

how about looking at all the facts & getting to know the dog before looking at his breed & deciding on that, as a dog owner myself i know that if people banged on our fence my dogs would jump up & bark, its what they do as not only to let their owner know but as protection his family, walter is not only a service dog that has taken time effort & no doubt a lot of money to train, he is also a loved member of his family

THIS DOG IS NOT A DANGEROUS DOG. THE NEIGHBOURS DELIBERATELY TORMENTED HIM TO GET A REACTION BY BANGING ON THE FENCE. THIS SERVICE DOG NEEDS TO BE RETURNED TO HIS MASTER. THIS IS NO DOUBT ADDING MORE STRESS TO THIS MANS LIFE WHICH HE DOES NOT NEED. HE IS ALREADY SUFFERING. HOW MUCH MORE MUST HE SUFFER BY BEING DENIED HIS SERVICE DOG!!! this should never have been taken to court . if anything this man should have been taken to court for wasting police time!!!

It is ridiculous to say all these dogs are dangerous. It is like saying all people names Smith or Brown are criminals. The people who torment the dog and bang at him are the ones needing to be charged to keep the peace. A name doesn't make a dangerous dog.
