This is a SERVICE Dog and has never hurt anyone. The neighbor provoked him and teased Walter, or worse. It is the neighbor who is WRONG and he should be punished NOT the innocent dog. Please do the right thing, let Walter go home to his loving family. Have a heart and use common sense.

Leave Walter alone. He barked. There is no reason to persecute him.

Please let Walter go back where he belongs with his owners. This is such a shame that this is happening to this family. Have a heart and some common sense.

This is a service dog who barked. That's what dogs do. This does not do anything for your towns image at all except show bigotry.

A trained SERVICE DOG is just that a wonderful friend, companion and caretaker. Walter stays and the neighbors go

Please, please, let the family have their service dog Walter back. Most probably the neighbour's kids were provoking Walter and any faithful dog will protect his master and family.

You need to look at the situation and realize that dogs jump, dogs bark, they are a dog. This is dog behavior. Do not take away a service animal because he is acting like a dog. PLEASE!

Walter was just defending himself from a neighbor that hit him. I would do the same thing. Its not fear! The neighbor should be the one moving out.

All I can say is just leave the poor dog to do what he was trained to do.

It is just plain mean! A dog is a dog no matter how well behaved. They are going to jump and bark. If he was not a bull dog they would not be doing this. Despicable people!

It is ridiculous that people would expect a dog to not act like a dog by barking and jumping up against their own fence. Please give me a break. What is the world coming to?

I have a service dog and I am surprised that this is happening to Walter. The neighbors should know he is a service dog. They actually save lives.

It's ridiculous that a petition even had to be started... Some people should be ashamed of themselves. Never mind that a young boy is currently deprived of an animal that he needs and loves.

Any dog is going to bark and jump when unknown people hit his fence! How else is the dog going to respond when he perceives a threat? These children were intimidating A Service Dog! Send Walter home now. And admonish the neighbors for taunting and bullying a desperately needed service dog.

What is the matter with the people in this town, a dog can't bark and jump on the fence without being labeled dangerous ?

The neighbor is the one who needs to be controlled for bad behavior, not the dog.
