It is my understanding that the dog was being a dog. Barking and jumping at a fence does not prove him to be vicious. If this were the case about 90% of dogs would be labeled as such. Please spend our tax dollars on something much more valuable than stealing someone's dog!

If you hit a neighbors fence when the dog, any breed of dog, is in the backyard, they're going to jump and bark. It doesn't make them dangerous. Anyone who truly knows dog behavior, knows this. I AM WITH WALTER!!

Coming from a military family, I am appalled by this towns stupidity. Maybe if something of much meaning is taking from them, they would understand. Maybe they need to spend a day watching these brave dogs go through the tuff training they have to endure to keep people save and alive. And if the judge reads this , you sir or mam should be ashamed of your self worth and value. How dare you judge a book by its cover. A dog is a dog is a dog. And coming from someone who is a part of the ASPCA AND HUMANE SOCIETY, you need to show more dignity and stop being afraid of the unknown. It is not the job of the town officials to say who can or can't have a pet much less a SERVICE DOG. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. AND IF THIS FAMILY NEEDS ,I WILL BE BACKING THEM THE WHOLE WAY. AND WE CAN GET LOTS OF DONATIONS FOR GREAT LAWYERS AND THE LAST THING YOUR TOWN NEEDS IS BAD REPUTATIONS IN THE MEDIA AND INTERNET. ...
