Taking this mans service dog has to be a violation of his civil rights

Why, Walter is a trained service dog, would anyone want to declare him dangerous. Has the neighbor been questioned??? Maybe the neighbor needs some training. You do not continue to harras any dog or person without some backlash. The neighbor should be cited!!!

Walter is a service dog who helps his wheelchair bound owner in many ways, including alerting him to noises since he is partially deaf. Of course he is going to bark when the neighbor agitates him, any dog would. If anything, Walter's family should counter sue for the suffering the neighbor is putting them through. Do the right thing, and don't take a service dog away from his owner who needs him!

Please find in favor of Walter. He is a SERVICE DOG. Doing his service. Any dog will jump on a fence if the fence is pushed. It's called protection and is inherent in all dogs, not just Pits. I say the person filing the charges should be charged for trespassing and animal abuse!

He did nothing wrong protected his yard, like any dog, which means they would have to ban all dogs if they want to go that route.

Sounds like to me that the NEIGHBOR is the trouble and NOT Walter. Have you thought that the Neighbor is an Animal Hater or just a hater period and wants to cause trouble for others??? GO AFTER THE NEIGHBOR and LEAVE Walter where he is with his little owner that NEEDS HIM. Don't label the dog because of the EVIL NEIGHBOR who is a TROUBLE MAKER !! START BLAMING HUMANS and NOT the Pets !! Thank you.

He needs to stay with her why was the neighbor hitting the fence to antagonize the dog in the first place

So the Service Dog alerts to sound? And it sounds like he did when the neighbor hit the fence. If the dog was a Lab or Golden or any other dog this wouldn't be an issue. He is a registered service dog and the unneeded awful stress this has caused on the owner and dog is horrible. I pray this ends well for all concerned.

what a crock. so for sure the neighbour will hit the fence again.why did he do it in the first place just to maske the dog bark and start all this mess. put the neighbour down and save the dog. it is a service dog after all.

what next - sounds to me like the neighbor should be in court for teasing the dog!!! He is a service dog, leave the dog and his owner alone!!

Walter does not deserve to be treated like a dangerous dog! The neighbour should be prosecuted for cruelty and provoking the poor dog who was just prite ting his home.

I totally agree with the letter written. Please save Walter!!! Walter is a member of the family. The neighbors are starting something that does not need to be. Walter deserves a good life with his family.
