A little common sense would go a long way here...if there truly was justice...the neighbor would be on trial.

Let this dog be... He is a service dog and don't side with the prosecution who probably is doing this only for the money.

Dogs protect, that's what they do. I'm more apt to believe the neighbor antagonizes the dog die to breed discrimination.

Tried calling you Mr. Mayor, numerous times! How could you have a public office and phone is busy for days! This dog has not harmed a soul! He is a trained animal for a handicap person! I have a 90 pound pit bull who would lick you and show where the TV was and a 9 pound Yorkinese who is psycho and will bite you! Just because he is a big breed he is not bad! He has not attacked anyone and was not raised too!

Sir:
You have the power to right a wrong. You have the authority to show to a Community that a disabled individial and his service animal matters. I am a.25+ years owner, handler and trainer of German Shepherds. My boys would if someone messed with our six foot privacy be very territorial. They would act on their natural instincts to guard and protect their home. None of my boys, Zeus and Thor, have been trained to attack. You do not need that for a pet in your home. My German Shepherd's reaction is built into every dogs DNA. We too had idiots that would provoke our dogs just because they could. Hence the six foot privacy fence ...not to keep my dogs in...but to keep humans from being stupid where I might have to make a decision I would not want to make. You by allowing this dog to be labled anything but a service dog to serve this disabled individual does a disservice to all disabled individuals and to all service dogs. So my prayer and hope is that you Sir will search your heart and place this service dog back into serving his young man. Bev Lockhart
