Dogs that are trained for service have the temperament that is conducive to being of service. Since Walter has never attacked a human and the neighbor has been shown to agitate Walter on other occasions, this would become an act of discrimination under the American Disabilities Act. This dog is protected and the person whom you should be investigating is the neighbor. Otherwise, the family should have the right to ask for help under the ADA which is federal law. This case bears further investigation. The neighbor is stopping the right of a disabled person to have a service animal. There appears to be no reason for him to video tape the dog and incite Walter. If he is found to be guilty the neighbor should be charged.

I hope Good sense will prevail. the dog as stated is a family pet and a companion to a disable member of your community. I would look into the neighbor behavior. It seams he is the one who is dangerous and brainless. He video the ordeal? He incited the dog He should be charged .

This is sickening!!! The law sides with a person who taunts the dog and the dog has never shown aggression to anyone!! This family and their dog should be left alone!!

This lawsuit is WRONG! This is a registered service animal. How would you feel if if was your child's service animal? Nothing like enforcing image that Mississippi is full of dumb, backwoods rednecks. SHAME ON YOU!

I see no reason why a healthy family dog should be put down and there is no history of attacks some people in this world need to get a life just because they don't have a dog does not justify a false allegation and reading this the said person should be prosecuted for wasting police and authority time
