I was hoping this was not really happening, but I guess it is. I actually think the person going to court should be the individual taunting the dog. Not the dog. Let's be realistic here and stop this. Spending unnecessary money in court for a dog that's doing their job!!!

So do we now imprison people just in case they do something ? Sounds like he's a valued member of the family and has done no harm to anyone and enriches the life of his family members. Jail the idiot neighbour for incitement, he's the one with the dangerous attitude.

I did not know....that barking and jumping on a fence, was a felony. If it was ....my dogs should have been terminated!!!! You people need to review laws regarding service dogs, and the Americans with Disabilities Act!!! Neighbor should be charged with preventing a service dog from carrying out its duties and training. Alsi trespassing...touching neighbors fence!!!!!!

This is taking the letter of the law to the extreme! A registered service dog, Walter was only doing what he was trained to do and alert his master. Show some compassion please.

Walter should not be penalized for defending himself against an animal hater who constantly provoked him. I am with Walter.

Please don't punish Walter for their neighbor's bad behavior. He's harmed no one. He merely did what any good dog would do & protected his family by issuing a warning. To take a trained service dog away from a disabled man in need would be a terrible & shameful thing to do.

Any dog will bark and yes jump on their own fence when someone bangs on it. This does not make them dangerous.

Maybe you should have the neighbors tagged as "dangerous" and leave the dog alone!
