this dog is not dangerous and should be allowed to continue it's valuable task as a service dog. It was just doing what any dog would do when threatened, protecting it's boundaries and owner!!

I would like to know how a dog can be deemed dangerous when his is hit and thus the dog is seeing the offender as being dangerous and he is protecting himself???? This dog is invaluable to this families son. His quality of life is hanging upon a thread because sometime punk who should be punished severely for raising a hand against a service dog that is actually an extension of a disabled child. Lets make an example out of this case and protect the dog, the child and the family and punish the punk that created this mess. It is the right thing to do. Do not fail this child who is going thru unnecessary stress!!

It's the neighbour that needs to go to court for wasting time & money & should be sued for putting Walter's owner through so much pain.

As a dog owner and a veterinarian, I urge you to exercise common sense, taking into account the circumstances of the incident where this service dog perceived his owner to be under threat. Walter is an integral part of his owners ability to live independently and as a service dog is trained to an exceptionally high standard. This case should be dismissed from the courts and the neighbour fined for wasting the court's time.

It is absolutely clear the Adam needs Walter on a daily basis. Walter was simply doing what any dog would do if they thought their master was in danger. Walter is not dangerous. He is loving and protective of the human he loves, and that human needs him. It is obvious that this neighbor has launched a vendetta against Adam and Walter, for reasons of his own, not because Walter is dangerous. It is because he is envious and insecure, and only hurting others gives him satisfaction. The neighbor is deliberately provoking Walter into protective state ,and then calling him aggressive. It is clear to me who the aggressive one is,and it is not Walter.

Walter has done nothing wrong whatsoever. He should not be persecuted for a spontaneous response after a immature female kept hitting the fence which belonged to Walters owners. She was provoking Walter , scaring him, how could he respond in any other way. She intimidated him, scared him and Walter felt threatened. Do not persecute Walter he has not done anything wrong. The woman however who hit the fence needs to show more maturity, her actions were foolish, unwise and intimidating. Walter has not done anything wrong. Leave him alone. He did not bite anyone, or hurt a anyone. Be sensible, fair and reasonable.
