Politicians and lawmakers need to stop these rants against dogs. There are more serious things to focus on in your community. Let people have their pets. Deal with people who want to harass animals instead.

Save Walter! Please consider the accusers history of abusing / murdering neighborhood dogs. Have Walter evaluated by a professional to determine if he really is aggressive before labeling him dangerous.

This is a disgrace, What are the laws in this town for proving dangerous dog status? How many dogs bark at the fence line of their property? Countless. Sound to me that this is biased by breed. How can a dog be vicious if it's never attacked anyone? Sounds like in this town you can say any lie about your neighbors and thats enough proof. I call out to the people of this town to look at and change the laws if they are this ridiculous. It's unfathomable that on the say so of a neighbor, that you would go after a service dog. Let's spread this travesty all over the service dog and handicapped world. Bring shame on the mayor and prosecutor. Once Walter is home, I suggest to the family you sue this neighbor for all your expenses and the pain and suffering of your son.

Do the right thing, DO NOT punish the family and the dog. Be a better person and do the right thing.

Obviously you are only concerned about keeping your job. Siding with the prosecution will NOT do you any good.

The neighbor is the one who should be under fire for purposefully agitating this dog. Why should this innocent dog inherit a title that is not deserving of him. If someone continuously bated and agitated you, you too would get irritated. We all would. This dog is doing a service to his family and has never, ever had a problem before. Why should he and his family be punished simply because a neighbor wants to be vindictive and mean? You should really consider punishing the idiot neighbor who obviously is the problem. When one has to go out of their way to antagonize others and to try to bring harm to them, it is clear that these individuals have issues of their own. Misery loves company. Please don't make this innocent dog and his family suffer simply because of a mean spirited person.

Mayor Butler: It sounds like you made no attempt to find the truth on this case, I hope you never have a special needs child as I would hate to see how you would treat it. My first thought when reading this story is I wonder how much of the neighbors money is lining your pockets. I hope the voters in that town show you what they think at the next election. Power can be a dangerous thing.
Im with Walter
