Please do not put the dog down, there is no history of violence and Adam needs him!! Just because he's a pitbull doesn't mean he's aggressive!

Please be fair to Walter and his family. I pray you do the right thing for Walter. What if you or your family were having a similar problem, what would you want done?

Can we please use our common sense here? This dog is not vicious, not a threat to anyone. What IS a threat is taking him away from the family who loves him and the child who needs him.

Save Walter. Service dogs are not violent animals. They are trained to help & serve there medically impaired owners. Breed Specific Legislation serves no other purpose but to target animals that have been targeted by people unfamiliar with the animals they claim to be so afraid of.

The idiot taunting him and filming it, should be the one considered dangerous. Walter is another innocent dog that someone doesn't like, so they taunt him to make him look bad. Let's taunt the idiot doing this to Walter and his owner...

Do not have this dog registered as a dangerous dog. This situation is appalling. All those involved in this should be ashamed of themselves.

There is no need to put this family through heck over false allegations. Every dog is an individual, not all are aggressive like many breed haters like to portray! Seems like this all started because their neighbor doesn't like Walter. Sad and heartbreaking!

Dogs only respond to humans' behavior. If the McAlister's neighbor continued to harass the family and the dog, then they caused the behavior they are complaining about. That is no reason for a disabled individual to lose the service animal that improves his quality of life.

I truely think it's ridiculous that this has even become a fight. If you as a politician allow yourself to be coerced by simple minded individuals who just because of a dogs breed are frightened or bigoted to think it's aggressive or could become aggressive is asinine! Stand up & let this family have some peace, I think they're dealing with enough, they definitely don't need simple minded bully's ruining their lives!
