It seems to me that as a CERTIFIED SERVICE ANIMAL, that Walter is NOT aggressive and only barks because he is be agitated thru the fence!! FYI, dogs bark!! That's their job!! This is a ridiculous persecution of a loving and much needed service animal by a neighbor who is for some strange reason determined to destroy Walter and his family!! Please do not destroy this man and his service animal because of the actions of the neighbor!!

Honestly Mayor Butler, I am sure you are a good leader for your town...but there must be some wriggle room on these kinds of issues.

this is ridiculous...he's a service dog. Leave him alone. Dogs protect their humans....proven for centuries.

I support Walter! I have 3 pit bulls. One was a rescue and she is the best dog I have ever had. All 3 of my dogs are well behaved and have never hurt ANYONE. People should not judge the breed based on other people's views. Until you have a pit bull, don't judge them! It's a shame that people are like this. It is all about how they are raised!

Dear Mayor Butler, As a disabled person myself I understand how important it is to have the freedom to be able to have a companion animal so I can leave my home safely. These animals are now given to our returning service members at a huge cost to improve their quality of life. Why would you intentionally take away someones quality of life because their neighbor is harassing their service dog? Please reconsider your position. Thank you,Sincerely Nancy Simler

Sounds like trumped up b.s. by someone with an ax to grind to me! Why is it regular citizens can see that, but politicians can't?!
