Please save Walter, he did nothing wrong! Do you really think he would be a service dog if he was dangerous? No he would not!! Do not take away this mans dog, this is how he is able to get around.

Walter would not be a trained service dog if he was vicious or showed any agression. For whatever reason the neighbor has taken a dislike to the dog and wants him removed and it has become an obession with him. Please think about getting a mental evaluation for the neighbor and just leaving Walter alone to do the job he was trained to do in helping Adam have a more comfortable life for however long he has left.

Without proper evidence of Walter being a dangerous animal he shouldn't be hurt. Its very easy for someone to claim something that isn't true.

This is a perfect example of breed assignation. The dog was on HIS property. He was being antagonized by the neighbors and as a dog, he has no way of knowing if these people mean him harm. He has never bit, shown aggression. Dogs bark, that's what they do, but service dogs are trained and have laws to uphold their protection. If you do not defend Walter and his family the you are simply on the wrong side of the law. Those neighbors invaded his territory & baited him. They should be held accountable for their actions. Service dogs have a job to do, same as K9 officers or military dogs. Please do the right thing.

Walter has done nothing wrong. The Nieghbor teases Walter over and through the fence. The nieghbor is the cause of the barking and carrying on. Punish the Nieghbor not Adam and his family.

I also have a pit bull who is one of the most gentle dogs I have ever known. Not every big breed dog is dangerous. For years you heard about the German Shephard, Rottweiller, and others then all of a sudden it was the Pitbull. It is time to stop this and put a stop to the neighbors harrassment of this family.

A service dog is the lifeline to the disabled person plus part of the family.
I cannot image someone losing their help mate and companion. Any dog teased at a fence of there own yard would be protective it is normal. What is not normal is someone who is standing at a fence deliberately antagonizing their neighbors dog. That person sounds like they may have a mental health problem?

Give this dog and family a chance. Adam needs Walter and Walter needs the McAlister family.

I had a neighbor many years ago who teased my dog until I spoke with him about how cruel he was, not funny. I threatened to call poloce on him if I caught him teasing Bandit again. The teasing ended. I think you are after the wrong person.

I am adding my support to this petition. To register a trained service dog as a dangerous animal is about as logical as saying the dog can speak for himself. That is why we, as fellow human beings on this planet, are speaking for him. I support registering the neighbor who is antagonizing Walter in the classification of dangerous human. I hope, beyond hope, you and your family will never have to live with the same situation of this family here; a family just trying to live as well as possible with the help of a wonderful service dog.
