The city has no right to do this. It is flouting Federal law. Charge the neighbor with wasting police time and leave this dog with his disabled owner

Please see Walter as the wonderful pet, service dog, and survivor that he is. Specific breeds do not mean "dangerous". Thank you

Dogs completely change the quality of an individuals life. Adam, I hope very much that you get your furbaby back safely. Neighbor, I understand barking can get frustrating but if it was a crying baby would you still instigate? Noise occurs. It is part of life!

Pretty sure this is in violation of the American Disabilities Act.
Federal laws overrule the BSL laws of any city or state.
Give the man his service dog back!

This is completely ridiculous!! How on earth can the authorities take the side of a clearly disturbed neighbor? The neighbor actually threatened to "shoot" the dog! The neighbor should be prosecuted for threatening bodily harm....with a gun!!!
This case should be thrown out immediately, and the neighbor should have a restraining order placed on him. How stupid this is!!!

This is so sad. Just because it's a dog. That is cruel to think that a dog is dangerous just because a HUMAN is messing with it. #imwithwalter

How can you be so cruel to take this service dog away from this disabled boy.

Please, let this poor man have his best friend and helpmate back. This is so unfair. You have no grounds to stand on. Educate yourself. This animal could never be a service animal if it was vicious.

People are such buttholes. Why would they aggravate this poor man's animal. That dogs job is to protect that an and he is doing his job.

Did anyone witness this neighbor? Maybe he yelled at him or was aggressive towards Walter. Everyone has a problem with something. It gets irritating after a while.

He doesn't look dangerous to me. The animals will react to negative stimulus if they feel threatened. He's a sweet puppy who loves his master and is there to help take care of him.

Please rethink your stance and this decision, and take into account that Walter makes a positive and profound impact on this man's life. Any animal or human will fight to protect those who are precious to them, and this dog is no different. If he was teased or taunted, he was doing what he is there to do, protect his human.
Open your heart and mind to the truth of all service animals, regardless of breed. They are true life savers to those entrusted to them.
Sincerely,
Theresa Hoffmeister
