Save Walter McAlister, The Service Dog

this is a certified service dog. the mayor and city need to recognize this. the federal ADA laws trump local law and an hysterical neighbor need to be taken to task for false allegations against this specially trained dog.

Save Walter he was just doing his job.

Please have a heart and let Walter stay. We are with Walter.

Please leave Walter in his loving home that is greatly helping his owner! Get that creepy neighbor out of his stressful life for God sakes..wtheck

That this case has been allowed to go this far is beyond shameful. Where is your heart?

I've worked at a local humane society as well as a doggie daycare. Most of these dogs are big sweethearts who want to give and receive love. And in this case, McAlister needs Walter. Help them, don't hurt them.

"Walter" would not be allowed to be a registered service dog if he was a vicious dog. Please consider this fact and leave this dog alone so this family can live in peace.

Please reconsider your decision. I have worked with individuals with disabilities, both physical and mental and pets make a big difference in their lives. Pets can make these individuals come out of their shells and lead a completely normal life instead of being locked up in their own world. Any pet can be provoked to be aggressive, which seems to be the case here.

Please reconsider your decision to stand with the prosecution, & do what is right and just for Walter, and his family; regardless of how it might negatively affect you and/or your position, now or in the future.

If Walter was aggressive he would not be a service dog. There is only one neighbor complaining about this dog and no one else which leads several questions. One, why was the neighbor hanging over the fence for in the first place teasing the dog. If he wanted to film the dog he should've done so throw a crack in the fence? Two this neighbor threaten to shoot the dog so why not do something about his treat to do harm? Three why not check the back ground history of this neighbor to find out if he's a trouble maker, which sounds like he is one? Four why would this dog be a registered service dog if he was a vicious dog? Five Why aren't you asking other neighbors about this dog and their experiences with Walter? You're just going by what just one person is saying and not everyone else. This is hearsay so far by the sounds of it. Six Why did you take the dog away from them after they reinforced the fence plus everything else they were to do even had a dog run given to them? Seven If that neighbor was so concern about the dog why didn't he reinforce his side of the fence? Eight Does this neighbor have something against the owner of Walter? It sounds like he does have something against Adam maybe even other disable people. It sounds like you all need to investigate a lot more before you put this dog away or put him down. This is just taking things way to far on the word of one person and one person only.

Use common sense. Leave this good dog and family alone!

this is ridiculous, the dog is only there to help, support and love. Leave this poor family alone and let them enjoy their lives and their dog.

Isn't there so much more troubling things in this world we are living in than to worry so about this family and this man's service dog? Shame on you. Shame on a system that threatens and distroys a family.

Come on people.. Imagine this was your child.. You want to take away the thing that makes them happy for the short time they are here.. And the dog hasn't even done anything..

Compassion and support for Walter- please do the right thing!

I think this is a case of jealous neighbours who should be ashamed of themselves. Where's your empathy for this disabled man.
