Walter is a service dog so yes he would bark to let his master know some one is there, No his master wont hear the bark but can feel the vibration that Walter sends. Be reasonable & look into service dogs actions Mayor Butler. Walter is no more a dangerous dog than my Chiweenie is.

Most ridiculous thing I've heard, he didn't hurt anyone, so why should he be punished for something he never did. I would have jumped on the fence if someone hit it!! I'm sure there are more things that really need their attention more than this!

For the sake of a DISABLED CITIZEN please stop this ridiculous persecution of an innocent animal and brings charges against the neighbor for animal cruelty for teasing and taunting a dog which then made the poor dog feel threatened to the point that he reacted but DID NOT .....REPEAT DID NOT HARM A PERSON!

Walter is not a threat and as a service dog is desperately needed.please don't consider him a threat for barking and jumping when challenged!

Any breed will protect it's family and space even a cocker spaniel. This dog acted naturally, as in canine behavior. How can you punish this family. Normal behavior would you have all dogs treated like this?

Please do not register a service dog as dangerous just for defending his home. He has not hurt anyone!!!

Leave the poor dog in peace! Please realize dogs of all breeds are potentially gentle or aggressive. It mainly depends upon their training & environment!

Mayor, get a heart! Why make a big deal about a service dog? Thean needs his dog with him. I have been keeping up with the story and that dog is not dangerous, he is like most dogs being protective of his home!

This is the most horrific thing I've seen lately. All adults involved in keeping this beautiful dog away from its owner should be ashamed of themselves.
Do the right thing & just return Walter & leave this family alone.
