Mr. Mayor As a Certified Profession Service Dog Trainer and Handler, I am asking that you reconsider the case on Walter. A service dog is a necessity for the quality of life for millions. How would you feel if your family member needed a service dog and found that the breed they had was discriminated against. Also know that scientific fact proves that aggression in dogs is not a bred behavior . Bully breeds are not born vicious dogs. Please educate yourself on this issue to allow a rational decision.

I have three little dogs. You want see them jump and go crazy when people taunt them. No one is asking me to register them as dangerous dogs.

I don't know how someone who has no training in this can make a judgement - It would be like me trying to be a doctor ha ha not possible no training to do. Makes you wonder why the neighbor wasn't spoken to adout his behavior. Police officer should look at the big picture. Action causing Reaction. I'm with Walter. Sue the neighbor for intimidation, harassment, threat to your son, in Montana you can do all of this on your own, no cost, pm if you need help. I care.

It's sad when any official is so willing to publicly demonstrate his/her ignorance. You are announcing something you should keep to yourself, and it's gone viral. It's really better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt, as you have. If Walter's appearance was that of a golden retriever this would not be an issue. He's not dangerous. He's a service dog who provides a valuable assist to his disabled person. If you can sleep at night taking this action you are taking, you are missing a conscience and that makes YOU the danger.
