Specific breeds of dogs are not dangerous because of their breed but rather because of the people who tend to own them (i.e. the people are looking for a tough, scary dog to fight or intimidate others). The people are the real danger. This dog is a service dog - he is more likely safer than 90% of the dogs in the town who haven't had any type of professional training. This is a miscarriage of justice. The real problem is the neighbor who is being malicious.

I find it disputable that the state or city would rather side with a person making accusations towards anot her family's service dog just because the dog is a breed they don't approve of. A service dog is a service dog regardless of the breed. Any breed can be a service dog just as every breed could be a danger but that depends on how the dog itself was raised. Please do your homework in regards to dog behaviors and tendencies and the original purpose of a breed when investigating these cases, as well as the environment and the situation of the dog before making any hasty judgements.

If someone is teasing an animal to the point that the animal becomes agitated then, that person deserves everything that the animal dishes out. Protect Walter & label the neighbor, a "Jerk"! Put a restraining order on the neighbor so he cannot come within 10 yards of the dog, or his owner. Adam needs his service dog, Walter.

This really sucks that they are trying to take away a disabled persons life line and that's exactly what a service dog is. I think Adam should be able to keep his dog and that his neighbors should have charges brought against them for animal cruelty for taunting a service dog and trying to make him act in a way that could get him taken from his handler.

If a dog or any animal is being bullied, then the animal will protect its self. Why is it you all are going after the dog ? Not the person who is teasing the dog to make him mad .

I see no good reason to register this dog as a dangerous dog and think that there should be a followup on the neighbor and see if the allegations are true and charge them
