This smoke stack is an iconic landmark for the Waialua and Haleiwa area. Every time I look at it I’m reminded of the history this community was built on and it’s one of the last pieces tied to the old sugar plantation days.

Please don’t take down our smoke stack. Our future generations need to know how we all started here in this tiny community.

Please sign this petition. Like many of us who have signed it already we have grown up with this smoke stack in our backyard. It is a big deal in Waialua. Please sign and save the stack.

The smokestack is part of what is historic about the north shore. If it is not a safety hazard it should stay.

Save the smoke stack, this should be a historical site. A reminder of where we came from.
