This smoke stack has been a part of the plantation community for decades!! My father was an employee of the Waialua Sugar Mill from when it 1st started and is one of the fewest Still Living at the age of 89years old Soon to be 90yrs. Please do not remove this Smoke stack it is a Historic part of the Waialua Community and it will sadly break the few living plantation workers hearts. We should Preserve it not Demolish it !!

The sugar mill is history that is still standing tall and proud. Please don’t knock the smoke stack down. Waialua is our home and it would not be the same with out it.
