You should not punish those that work tirelessly for the greater good. These improvements have been well made, as can be seen in the photos documenting the build. Why does a council have money to demolish a skate park but not build one?

I've been going to Cape Patterson and Inverloch since I was 14... I'm 37. I've noticed in this time how popular the area has gotten, and that has flowed on to Venus bay. The kids need something down there on those days where there's no swell. Every good skate park that is built brings kids of all ages.

I have been coming here since i was a child and it would be a shame to see it destroyed as my kids now use it and dont believe it is dangerous in the slightest! No different from half of the Melbourne skate parks that have chips and cracks all the way through them..

Taking down an area where people skateboard is a terrible idea - think about what you can give to the community, not take away. Looks like the work done on this park is on par with many older council built skate parks around the country.

Start fixing our roads/provide bins/stop the pippi harvesting Instead of easy options like knocking things down and selling off our land.
Work with our community or get lost! Venus bay council is a joke..
